Basketball Pep Band Schedule
For the basketball games, we are splitting the band into two bands so that everyone only has to come to 4 regular season games instead of 8. Here are both schedules:
Blue Band:
12/7 6:30
12/18 6:30
1/17 6:30
1/31 4:45*
White Band:
12/13 6:30
1/11 6:30
1/25 6:30
1/31 4:45*
*The 1/31 game is a double-header. This is also the last game of the season so both bands will play for both games.
The times listed are arrival times.
All games that are listed are home games and will be played in the gym at MRHS.

Macy's Parade
It's that time of year again! We are once again marching in the Macy's Holiday Parade in Downtown Seattle.
Here's what you need to know for this event:
***UPDATE 11/16***
Rehearsal for the parade will be Wednesday, November 21st from 1-3pm on the practice field at MRHS. Wear layers, it will be cold.
Date: November 23rd, 2012 (The day after Thanksgiving)
Attire: White shoes, white pants (consider wearing your white pants over top of other pants, it will be cold), blue long-sleeve band shirt (with lots of layers underneath, it will be cold), Santa hat, and white gloves if you have them (by the way, it will be cold).
***UPDATE 11/16***
We do not have a secure location to store extra stuff. This means that parents should watch over instrument cases and other personal belongings if they are brought. Or, you can leave cases and periferals at home and only bring what you need for the parade.
***UPDATED TIMELINE 11/16***
Timeline:
7:04am: Meet at Tukwila International Boulevard Station (15426 35th Ave S, Tukwila) to catch the Light Rail to Seattle*
8:00am: Meet at staging area (7th between Pine and Olive)
8:45am: Parade starts
10:30-11:00am: Parade ends (4th and Stewart)
At this time, we can pack up and take the next Light Rail back to Tukwilla.
*This is optional if you are meeting us there. Students are not allowed to drive themselves. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time to find parking and get to the staging area.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Help: Jazz Festival Chaperones
We are still in need of 2-3 chaperones for the jazz festival. The festival is November 15th and we will be gone from 8:00am to 2:00pm. Your biggest role will be to make sure students are where they are supposed to be and that they stay school appropriate. Check your calendars and let me know if you can make it.
Thanks!
Thanks!
